Art has always been a part of life, and was once going to be my college major. I've come back to it with a passion in these last few years as a retreat from the long hours I log on the computer. It feels so good to step away from the keyboard and work with actual tools, paint brushes and fabric. My work is an eclectic mix of rescued furniture, barnwood and other items that I've given new life in a variety of ways. I also do drawings and paintings on canvas, usually reflecting sentiments from my personal journal.
